Flash Fiction is a newly minted term for stories that are extremely short- a page or less. Yet, these stories have a rhythm and hook that satisfy the reader even in their short presentation. A local storyteller and writer will lead 5th grade students in this engaging workshop. You’ll have a chance to watch flash fiction in action, as students develop a character, setting, and plot in a format where every word is necessary. A brief time for discussion about Project ADEPT and the workshop will follow. General information can be found at http://www.monroe2boces.org/gte.cfm?subpage=2161.
