This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding scholarship contributing directly to the support of gifted education.
Dr. Passow, a highly regarded professor of education at Columbia University, dedicated much of his research to curriculum differentiation and policy development for gifted and talented students.
NOMINATION GUIDELINES: Please submit the following:
- A brief biography (50-75 words) with nominee’s address and telephone
- A narrative description of the nominee’s activities that have promoted gifted education, providing evidence of the nominee’s commitment to the needs of gifted children
- Supporting statements from nominator and colleagues of nominee
